Salafimanhaj.com expresses their utter disgust at any acts of extremism and betrayal and any unjustified outbursts of wanton violence committed by individual Muslims against their fellow colleagues. Such betrayal is against Islam and Islam does not justify fighting those whom are unaware of any aggression against them. Furthermore, it is betrayal to turn on those whom one has a formal or official covenant of security and safety with, or to fight against those who one has a trust with. Hence, as we at this website have made clear time after time - it is not allowed in Islam for a Muslim to betray or trick those non-Muslims with whom he works with or has a formal and official agreement/trust/covenant with. It is not for individual Muslims to take it upon themselves and arm themselves with weapons to fight against others. The article 'Martyrdom in Islam Versus Suicide Bombings' is an academic paper which clearly and totally refutes vigilante behaviour enacted by individuals.
We also refer readers to these past articles that we have authored and translated which unequivocally denounce extremism, terrorism and violence:

SalafiManhaj.com neither condones such extreme actions nor supports the likes of such maverick vigilante shootings wherein people take it upon themselves to carry out wanton violence and murder of others in the name of Islam or otherwise. As for the article Martyrdom in Islam Versus Suicide Bombing then it is an academic analysis which clearly repudiates extremist terrorist actions and this was the context of the article which is clear to anybody who reads it.
The article itself was a response to an Online extremist paper which was justifying the killing of innocents and looks at the arguments expressed in that paper and refutes them. An update to that article by its author can be referred to here:
